LOCATION: New York, NY (Lower East Side near F train; family will move to Brooklyn in summer, also near F train)

SALARY: $27/hour

CHILDREN: 15 month toddler (nanny will get $30 in 2025 when begin caring for newborn baby)

DUTIES

compassionate, responsible care for 15-month-old girl and newborn baby due June 2025 (e.g. bathing, changing, bottle preparation & feeding, potty training, maintaining sleep/nap schedule)
age-appropriate play & learning activities (including "tummy time", reading storybooks, singing & nursery rhymes, indoor/outdoor play and educational games)
help arrange playdates (with other nannies and nearby families) and take to/from park, activities and classes
children's laundry (family laundry when time permits)
meal/snack preparation for kids (cooking for a family a plus)
light housekeeping when not caregiving (tidying up common areas after playtime, clean kitchen after meal prep for child, organize baby's drawers, closets & toy boxes)‌

REQUIREMENTS

experience caring for infants and toddlers
experience with multiple children of varying ages
able to keep flexible schedule (start & stop time may be adjusted later; minimum 40-hour work week)
able to travel with family a plus (not required)
competent English speaker
willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed
CPR-trained or willing to receive training
takes direction well & communicates openly
seeking a long-term position with family ‌f

REIMBURSEMENT

$27/hour ($30/hour when nanny cares for both kids independently)
10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee)
5 paid sick days and major public holidays paid days off
monthly MetroCard reimbursed
paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
