LOCATION: Westchester, NY (Larchmont, near Metro-North Railroad)

SALARY: $1,700/week (with driver license) ($1,500 no driver license but willing to learn

CHILDREN: 7 year old girl (baby later in 2025)

START DATE: March 2025

SCHEDULE: THIS POSITION CAN BE LIVE-OUT OR LIVE-IN (8am - 6pm if live-out)

DRIVING REQUIRED: YES (or willing to learn!)

TRAVEL REQUIRED: second home in Long Island

PETS: 2 small dogs

DUTIES

care for 7 year-old girl and help with baby later in 2025 (e.g. bathing, changing, bottle preparation & feeding, potty training, maintaining sleep/nap schedule)
age-appropriate play & learning activities (including "tummy time" with baby, reading storybooks, singing & nursery rhymes, indoor/outdoor play and educational games)
help arrange playdates with other nannies and nearby families
take to/from park, activities and classes as child grows
children's laundry
meal/snack preparation for kids
light housekeeping when not caregiving

REQUIREMENTS

experience caring for infants, toddlers and school-age children (experience with two children of different ages)
playful, upbeat personality (enjoys talking and playing with kids, including educational games and activities)
able to travel with family (family has home in Long Island)
drive license or willing to learn
competent English speaker
comfortable with two small dogs in home (minimal pet care required)
willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed
CPR-trained or willing to receive training
takes direction well & communicates openly
seeking a long-term position with family ‌

REIMBURSEMENT

$1,500/week ($1,700/week for qualified nanny with driver license)
10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee), 5 paid sick days and major public holidays paid days off
transportation to/from work reimbursed by family
paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
