SALARY: $30/hour ($27 until nanny begins caring independently for two kids later in 2025)

DUTIES

compassionate, responsible care for 3 year-old boy and baby expected 2025 (e.g. bathing, changing, bottle preparation & feeding, potty training, maintaining sleep/nap schedule)
age-appropriate play & learning activities (including "tummy time" for baby, reading storybooks, singing & nursery rhymes, indoor/outdoor play and educational games)
help arrange play dates (with other nannies and nearby families) and take to/from park, activities and classes
children's laundry
meal/snack preparation for kids
light housekeeping when not caregiving (tidying up common areas after playtime, clean kitchen after meal prep for child, organize children's drawers, closets & toy boxes)

‌‌REQUIREMENTS

experience caring for infants & toddlers (can handle multiple kids of varying ages)
highly interactive with kids (loves talking and playing, educational games and activities)
punctual (arrive/leave on time)
competent English speaker
ideal candidate can stay overnight 2-3 weekends each year when parents travel (preferred but not required)
willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed
CPR-trained or willing to receive training
takes direction well & communicates openly with parents
seeking a long-term position with family

‌REIMBURSEMENT

$30/hour ($27 until nanny begins caring independently for two kids later in 2025)
10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee)
5 paid sick days and major public holidays paid days off
monthly MetroCard reimbursed or paid by employer
paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
