DUTIES

compassionate, responsible care for 3.5 year-old girl (e.g. help with bathing and changing, teach hygiene and grooming, changing, maintaining sleep/nap schedule)
age-appropriate play & learning activities (including educational games, reading storybooks, singing & nursery rhymes, indoor/outdoor play)
help arrange playdates with other nannies and nearby families and take to/from park, activities and classes
child's laundry
meal/snack prep for child
light housekeeping when not caregiving‌

REQUIREMENTS

experience caring for pre-school and school-age children
gentle and loving caregiver who is also able to be firm as needed with pre-school child
punctual (arrive/leave on time)
able to travel with family domestically (international travel also preferred)
able to stay late as needed with additional pay (typically Fridays if nanny is available)
good English speaker
willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed
CPR-trained or willing to receive training
takes direction well & communicates openly
seeking a long-term position with family

REIMBURSEMENT

$27/hour (final offer varies with skills and experience)
10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee), 5 paid sick days and major public holidays paid days off
monthly MetroCard reimbursed
paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
