LOCATION: NYC & Short Hills, NJ (family moving to Short Hills, NJ in Summer 2025)

SALARY: $1,500/week

CHILDREN: 1.5 year-odl girl & 4 year-old boy

START DATE: February 2025

SCHEDULE

NOTE: nanny will travel with family 10-12 weeks each year, mostly to California. Ability to travel internationally a plus!

DRIVING REQUIRED: NO

TRAVEL REQUIRED: 10-12 weeks/year (most California) (international a plus!)

DUTIES

compassionate, responsible care for 1.5 year-old girl & 4 year-old boy (e.g. bathing, changing, bottle preparation & feeding, potty training, maintaining sleep/nap schedules)
age-appropriate play & learning activities (including reading storybooks, educational games,etc)
help arrange playdates with other nannies and nearby families
take to/from park, activities and classes
children's laundry
meal/snack preparation for kids
light housekeeping when not caregiving
travel with family as needed (most travel to California, international a plus!)

REQUIREMENTS

high-energy personality and experience caring for toddlers and pre-schoolers (capable of working independently, comfortable handling both kids, but mom will be in the home)
good cooking skills for kids
comfortable with stay-home mom (flexible as mom comes in and out of house)
able to travel with family domestically 10-12 weeks/year (mostly California, but international travel a big plus!)
competent English speaker
willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed
CPR-trained or willing to receive training

REIMBURSEMENT

$1,500/week
10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee)
5 paid sick days and major public holidays paid days off
public transportation to/from work reimbursed by family
paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
