SALARY: $1,200/week

CHILDREN: 5-year-old girl (light daily housekeeping & meal prep while child in school)

SCHEDULE: LIVE-IN Tue - Sat (Sun & Mon off) OR Sun - Thur (Fri & Sat off)

DRIVING REQUIRED: NO

TRAVEL REQUIRED: NO (flexible to travel a plus but not required)

DUTIES

compassionate, responsible care for 5 year-old girl
light daily housekeeping while child in school
age-appropriate play & learning activities (reading storybooks, educational games and activities inside and outside the home)
help arrange playdates (with other nannies and nearby families) and take to/from park, activities and classes
meal/snack preparation (help with dinner meal for family)
family laundry

REQUIREMENTS

experience caring for school-age kids
enjoys daily light housekeeping and organizing (e.g. laundry, bathroom, kitchen, floors, dusting, bedrooms, closet organization, empty trash)
family meal preparation (dinner meal)
able to travel with family a plus (not required)
comfortable with small dog in home
competent English speaker
willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed
seeking a long-term position with family

‌REIMBURSEMENT

$1,200/week (final offer varies with skill and experience)
10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee), 5 paid sick days and major public holidays paid days off
monthly MetroCard reimbursed
paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
