DUTIES

  • work alongside mother to provide compassionate, responsible care for 2 & 3.5 year old kids (e.g. help with bathing & changing, potty training, maintaining sleep/nap schedule)

  • light housekeeping and household chores while mother is watching kids

  • age-appropriate play & learning activities (reading storybooks, singing & nursery rhymes, indoor/outdoor play and educational games)

  • take kids to/from school, park, activities and classes as needed (mother will typically provide direction on kids' activity schedule)

  • children's laundry (help with family laundry as needed)

  • cooking & meal preparation for kids, plus some help with family meal prep

‌ REQUIREMENTS

  • flexible work style (enjoys working alongside stay-home mom; enjoys switching from child care to light housekeeping and other chores as needed)

  • calm, happy personality (not too loud speaking voice)

  • experience caring for toddlers & pre-school kids (experience caring for two children in same home a plus!)

  • punctual (arrive/leave on time)

  • competent English speaker

  • comfortable working in all-vegetarian home

‌REIMBURSEMENT

  • $30/hour

  • 10 Days paid vacation & major public holidays are paid days off
