DUTIES

compassionate, responsible care for newborn baby boy (e.g. bathing, changing, bottle preparation & feeding, potty training, maintaining sleep/nap schedule)
age-appropriate play & learning activities (including "tummy time", reading storybooks, singing & nursery rhymes, indoor/outdoor play and educational games)
help arrange playdates (with other nannies and nearby families) and take to/from park, activities and classes as child grows
child's laundry
meal/snack preparation for child (help transition to solids when needed)
grocery shopping and light housekeeping when not caregiving (tidying up common areas after playtime, clean kitchen after meal prep for child, organize baby's drawers, closets & toy boxes)

‌REQUIREMENTS

experience caring for infants & toddlers (highly interactive with child and development-focused)
good cooking skills for kids (help baby transition to solid foods)
punctual (arrive/leave on time)
competent English speaker (Hindi speaking a plus!)
willing to get screenings/immunizations as directed by family
CPR-trained or willing to receive training
takes direction well & communicates openly
seeking a long-term position with family

‌REIMBURSEMENT

$25/hour
10 paid vacation/personal days (half selected by employer, half by employee), 5 paid sick days and major public holidays paid days off
monthly MetroCard reimbursed
paid 52-weeks/year (i.e. paid when not needed such as during family vacation)
